Meet Dr. Julia Nguyen
Background and Credentials
Dr. Julia Nguyen attended the University of Arkansas where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in biology. She then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where she participated in the Senior Departmental Advanced Studies Program in Endodontics and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Nguyen furthered her education by completing a 1 year general practice residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She then attended the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry where she completed her specialty training in Endodontics and received her Master’s Degree in Oral Sciences. She did extensive research on the post-operative healing outcomes with prophylactic antibiotics following surgical endodontic treatment.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. During her free time Dr. Nguyen enjoys hiking, kayaking, tennis, traveling, and exploring the city.
